I’m after a quote for two pieces of work on my house in Bishops Stortford. Ideally I’d like both to be done by the same company and I’ve found yours to be fairly local and with some good reviews online.



Item 1 – Front door

See pictures attached, ‘Front door’ and ‘Front door example’.

I’d like to move the front door to the front of the currently open porch. The new door to be white PVC, something like this http://www.wickes.co.uk/medway-pre-hung-pvcu-door-2085x920mm-lh/invt/158330/

Also removal of the existing wooden door frame and possibly plastering the inside of the porch.

Pictures attached show the existing door/porch and next doors as an example.

I can arrange to buy the door/frame if required although more than happy to accept any recommendations of a good source or for you to purchase from one of your suppliers.



Item 2 – 3 x new windows

See windows pictures attached.Replace the current wooden windows with white PVC double glazed units.

Bathroom, ground floor, frosted glass, top opening. Width 61cm, height 120cm

Kitchen, ground floor, two panes, either left OR right to open (don’t mind which). Width 90cm, height 120cm

Office, top opening. Width 60cm, height 120cm. This is a first floor window with a sloping roof directly beneath it. If you can fit from the inside great, otherwise I believe you’ll require scaffolding.







If possible can you give a rough estimate from these details? I appreciate a visit would be required to do a proper quiet, at present I’m trying to get a feel for overall cost.
