Rain water is seeping in through an external wall on the first floor of my property. The wallpaper inside is starting to bubble and the carpet is damp. A homebuyer survey of the property stated that localised repointing is required where mortar joints have failed. The wall is of stone construction as the property is 100 years old. It is not the whole wall, just a small portion located to the side of the window.
