Can the tradesman see my details?

NO. Your details are only released to the tradesman once you've accepted a quote.

Do I pay you a fee for posting my jobs?

NO. You do not pay any fees.

How can I trust my tradesman?

To help, we perform a basic check on all registered tradesmen before allowing them to provide quotations and offer a feedback system to aid in your decision. However, as with any job that you pay someone else to do, you should always perform your own checks on them before entering into a contract and agreeing to a price.

What happens if there are no tradesmen in my area?

Post your job and our team will locate a tradesman in your area fit for the task.

When do I leave feedback?

You must only leave feedback once the job has been completed. You must NOT do this beforehand, this can lead to the feedback being withdrawn and your account being suspended.

When should I give the tradesman my contact details?

You should not give any tradesman your contact details on this website at any point. We will automatically provide the tradesman with your contact details when you have accepted a quotation from them. We will also provide you with the contact details of the tradesman.

A tradesman has asked me to cancel my job, what should I do?

Please contact us immediately with the company name of the tradesman in question.

When will my job be approved?

As soon as we have reviewed and moderated your project, we will display it on the website and notify all local professionals in your area that fit the bill. Depending on the time of day and the amount of jobs awaiting moderation, this process can take up to 24 hours. We will notify you by email as soon we have displayed it on the website.

When will I receive a quotation for my job?

As soon as your project has passed moderation, we will immediately notify all local professionals in your area of the job. Some tradesman can only provide quotations at certain times of the day. You can also personally request a quote from tradesmen you think would be ideal for the job.

Can I cancel my job?

Yes, you can do this at any time in your account area. All that we ask is that you provide a reason for cancellation.

Can I control what emails/SMS I receive?

Of course, simply go to the notification settings page in your account area to toggle which emails and SMS you would like to receive.

How do I complete my purchase/payment

We use Google Checkout for our payment processing. When you have made your payment with Google, you will be presented a special link to click, which will tell us that your payment has been completed. If you make a payment and do not click this link we will not know that you have made a payment. If you forget to click the link, you can go back to your Google Checkout order history page at any time to view the special link and complete your purchase.

Tradesman help

Do I need to pay any fee's?

To help tradesman at this current time we are offering a full 12 months membership for only £19.99. There are no other fees whatsoever. NO LEAD FEES / NO COMMISION FEES , NOTHING. Just £19.99 for the year.

How do i find jobs in my area?

Upon registration you will be able to search for jobs within your area. We will also notify you by email everytime a relevant job in your area is posted. Within your account area you will be able to purchase sms text messages to enable us to keep you updated with jobs via your mobile.

Why can I only quote for certain jobs?

The unique system provided through our website, ensures that only local tradesmen can quote for jobs under the professional trades they specify at registration. This keeps quotations at a fair level and ensures that customers only deal with local professionals.

Are my contact details publicly available?

Yes.

How do I know if a user has accepted my quotation?

We will notify you by email / SMS providing that this is set in the notification settings area of your account area. You can also view the status of all your quotations at any time in your account area.

In your account area you can ask the customer questions as long as the job is in your areas and within your trades.
